Tell DepreciationPro which tax software your firm uses and it will produce an export formatted for it.
Go to Settings → Firm Settings. The first card is Tax Software Preference.
Pick your software
The dropdown offers:
None (no tax software export)
Drake
CCH ProSystem fx
Lacerte/ProSeries
UltraTax CS
CCH Axcess Tax
GoSystem Tax RS
ONESOURCE
Choose yours and click Save.
What it changes
The export button appears on the reports page once a tax software is configured. Leave it on None and there is no tax software export offered anywhere.
This is a firm-level default. It applies to everyone in your firm and to every return.
Overriding it on one report
You can pick a different tax software on the Report tab itself when you need a one-off export in another format. That choice applies to the report you are looking at and is not saved. The next time the tab loads it is back on the firm's setting.
