Every row carries a Status pill. Some rows carry an extra badge next to it. Each one marks something worth knowing before you act on that asset.

The Status pill
Status is a filterable column, so you can isolate or exclude any of these in one click.
Status | What it means |
Active | The asset is on the books and depreciating |
Disposed | The asset has a disposal recorded against it |
CIP | Construction in progress. No placed-in-service date or cost yet |
Fully Depreciated | No remaining basis and nothing computing this year |
Non-depreciating | You marked the asset non-depreciating. DepreciationPro leaves it out of the calculation |
Needs attention | An unresolved import issue is keeping the asset out of the calculation. Open the asset to resolve it |
Review basis | DepreciationPro had to reconstruct the asset's basis and the result did not tie to the imported prior accumulated. The asset still computes. Check the imported history |
Status fills in after the depreciation run finishes. On a large return the grid paints first and the pills settle a moment later.
When more than one applies, the pill shows the one highest on this list: Disposed, then Non-depreciating, then Needs attention, then CIP, then Review basis, then Fully Depreciated, then Active.
The cost segregation badge
On a return where cost segregation is turned on, buildings carry a second badge. It shows on residential rental and nonresidential real property, and it is a link.

The same route appears in the row menu, so you do not have to hit the badge exactly.
Component rows under a parent building do not carry this badge. The parent does.
The "Needs review" badge
An amber Needs review badge marks an asset for a second look. Two different things raise it, and the badge's tooltip says which:

"Recovery profile needs review. Open the asset to see what is missing or was changed." | The asset's recovery settings are incomplete or were changed — most often an intangible saved without all three of its recovery period in months, method and timing rule |
Either way, click the badge to open the asset and fill in what is missing.
It changes nothing on its own. A flagged asset computes exactly as it would without the flag, and the badge does not block any action you can take on the grid. An intangible missing its recovery settings is the one case where there is nothing to compute yet — the asset names the fields it still needs on its own page.
